 • Basic Sky Dome - This tutorial shows how to insert a sky dome and create a realistic level inside of it. This level is initially additive.

 - In the generic browser in the package SkyDomes there is a sky static mesh. (If you cannot see all of the textures, materials and static meshes right click on the SkyDome package and select Fully Load). Insert this into the level by right clicking anywhere. When the mesh appears it is to small to use this way. Scale the mesh up to about 80 times its original size. (This can be done with the draw scale or the scale widget). Below is an example of about 15 meshes and a few lights. This is not a complete level however it works to show how to create buildings in the distance. The wall that is visible in the perspective view port is the area the player can run in and around. However the player will never be allowed past this wall. However this wall should not appear to be the edge of the world so adding more low detail buildings behind it will create the illusion that this is not a single floating building in space.

 - This shows that just behind the wall that the player cannot cross there is only three building static meshes. This creates the illusion that the world is complete form the players perspective (above)
